Professional Development Seminar

We are currently on hiatus and will be scheduling meetings within the next couple of months. Join the SDACM mailing list to be updated when new dates are scheduled

---.

One of the great values an ACM chapter can offer its members is a Professional Development Seminar (PDS). A PDS is a terrific opportunity to improve critical professional skills while spending an enjoyable day networking with professional peers.

For the first time in several years, our chapter is able to offer a PDS ...

In fact, we are able to offer the TWO seminars -- the two most requested by you, our members -- both top notch!

Aspect-Oriented Programming
($150 for SDACM members, $225 for non-members)

UPDATE: The AOP seminar occurred on April 3 as scheduled. JD Baker made a detailed and spirited presentation of AOP history and rationale, complete with working examples. Class interaction was equally heavy and high spirited. A great way to spend a Saturday!

Modeling with Unified Modeling Language
($150 for SDACM members through April 24, $225 for non-members)
Information
The class was held on May 15, 2004 and is not planned again. Pls. contact Paul Anderson for further information.

UPDATE: The UML seminar occurred on May 15 as scheduled. Paul Anderson gave an excellent lecture (including exercises) to a full house of 24 students. The class was spellbound for the entire day ... and it learned tons!
