Abstract
Java has come a long way from being an interesting experiment back in
1999 to what it is today - defacto, mainstream programming platform
for mobile devices. The fact that there are close to over 750 million
Java enabled devices today is a direct result of this ever increasing
adoption of the Java Platform as 'the' platform for mobility
computing.
In this talk, you will learn all about ins-and-outs of various Java
technology implementations in all the different Nokia platforms. You
will learn about the Java technology composition of various technology
platforms and the devices addressed in these platforms such as Series
40, Series 60, Series 80, and Series 90 platforms. In addition, you
will learn about various tools and SDKs that a developer can use to
build applications on these platforms.
