Learn about Web Services, Interoperability, and Security
Thursday,December 16, 2004
Summary
Michele Leroux-Bustamante and her two partners, Anant Kadiyala and
Chris Haddad of Interop Warriors, gave a stunning talk on Web Services
and their security implications to a rapt audience of 20. Michele gave
a fast flyby of the SOA landscape, and then homed in on the use of web
services in modern architectures and the larger meaning of SOA in system
design. It was very clear that Michele could talk on this for days,
and it wouldn't have been hard to listen... except that our hosts wanted
to see their families again before dawn. Pizza, cake, and an iPod giveaway
were enjoyed by all.
